Petkus Brothers Partners With Coats for Kids Program
Sacramento, CA - Petkus Brothers, a full service sunroon, patio cover and spa dealer, has signed up to be a drop-off point for the Coats for Kids Program, sponsored by News10 along with the Salvation Army. Petkus Brothers has set up collection bins at both of its retail showrooms to make donating coats as convenient as possible.
"Giving back to our community is important to us," says Kevin Petkus, president of Petkus Brothers. "That's why we joined the Coats for Kids Program this year, and worked with the Make A Wish Foundation last year. Your new or used coat could be the only thing standing between a needy child and nasty winter weather."
If you'd like to share the warmth this winter, donations can be made at either of the Petkus Brothers locations up until January 1, 2003. All sizes are welcome, but children's coats are in particularly short supply.
According to News10, more than 179,000 coats have been distributed since the program's inception 12 years ago. The Salvation Army will be distributing coats free of charge on Saturday, January 11, 2003.
